Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Lyneth Crighton, and I am the strategic lead for technology integration at Brescia House School in Johannesburg, South Africa. As a leader, I work closely with various stakeholders and the School’s Board to drive innovative academic excellence across all grades. With a wealth of experience and knowledge in both education and the wider business environment, I have a unique perspective on transformation and change management. My approach to improving learning and teaching pedagogy through technology integration has been recognized by Microsoft, and I am proud to have been named the Middle East and Africa Region's Cutting-Edge Technology winner in 2011 and a Microsoft Innovative Educator Fellow in 2019. As a Microsoft Innovative Educator Trainer since 2015 and a certified Apple Teacher and Google Certified Educator, I am committed to providing educators with the tools they need to succeed. Under my leadership, Brescia House School has been recognized as a Microsoft Showcase School, and my staff development initiatives have led to an increasing number of Brescia House School educators recognized as Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts. During the pandemic, I led the School’s online remote and hybrid learning efforts and the required staff development. As the co-author of a series of textbooks for Computer Applications Technology, I am committed to sharing my passion for education, technology, and servant leadership with educators from across South Africa.
